Belenus, the Sun God of Celtic mythology, radiates through ancient stories as a deity of fire and light, bearer of immense regenerative and purifying power. His presence was so luminous, so vital, that parallels have long been drawn between him and the Greek god Apollo.
His name, meaning luminous and bright, speaks to the divine energy he embodied, a force not only of warmth and brilliance, but of healing and transformation.
