Segunda Chance

I’m in my studio in New York. In the background, the sirens don’t stop. I go outside to throw out the garbage, where I find this little painting, leaning on its side, abandoned among the rubble as if it were worth nothing. Who created it, who left it.
This finding made me reflect that we all deserve a second chance, a new level of consciousness.

In this artwork, timid watercolors appear in the background, fiery brushes claim their own.

This painting is made with watercolors, acrylics and markers. Painted on canvas.
